She holds an M.D. degree from the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud in the Dominican Republic. Dr. Bello completed her residency training at Cleveland Clinic’s Akron General Medical Center in Ohio, specializing in Internal Medicine. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, American Board of Obesity Medicine and the American Board of Aesthetic Medicine. She is a Fellow of the American College of physicians and a Mentor for the Obesity Medicine Association.

Dr. Bello has a strong background in research, having worked as a co-investigator at Akron General Medical Center, studying the relationship between sleeve gastrectomy for obesity and gastroesophageal reflux disease. She has also served as a research technician at New York University, focusing on pancreatic inflammation, carcinogenesis, liver disease, and basic cellular immunology.

Currently, she is practicing at Memorial Hospital South in Hollywood, Florida.
